The Geneva Finance Research Institute (GFRI) at the University of Geneva invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Finance, starting August 1, 2026.

All research fields in finance are welcome. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Finance or be expected to complete it by September 2026. Associate-level applicants should have a proven record of excellence in research and teaching.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong research potential, effective teaching skills, and the ability to publish in top finance journals. Responsibilities include teaching at undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD levels (Swiss Finance Institute program), supervising doctoral students, and contributing to administrative duties.

This position is offered in collaboration with the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI), which promotes academic excellence in finance across Swiss universities.
