The Department of Economics and Business at Westmont College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant rank to begin in August 2026. Candidates should hold a PhD in Economics by the time of appointment. A minimum of 2-3 years teaching experience is preferred. While the position is open across the fields of economics, areas of teaching specialization given priority are Macroeconomics, International Economics, Financial Markets, and the History of Economic Thought. Candidates are also expected to engage in research in the economics field and mentor undergraduate research.
