Full Text of JOE Listing:
This position requires strategic and intellectual leadership to guide a team of financial sector specialists and oversee the design and implementation of high-quality capacity-building and research programs. Includes mentoring the team, ensuring operational excellence, and ensuring all programs provide impactful value to member central banks. A key responsibility is to lead learning needs analyses to identify knowledge gaps and develop customized,cross-functional programs in areas such as financial sector supervision and payments(FSSP).The role involves keeping abreast of emerging technological trends, including payments and digital innovation, to ensure training remains relevant and addresses knowledge gaps. Active participation in international forums is required to represent the organization's activities and perspectives, and the individual will be a key contributor to the long-term strategic planning, work plan, and budget of the SEACEN Centre.
The role involves steering research outcomes by developing surveillance mechanisms to monitor global developments in supervision and payments, identifying emerging risks, and directing research efforts accordingly. This extends to identifying ongoing developments and digital threats in FSSP topics to inform capacity building and research. The role includes pursuing collaborative research projects with international and regional partners to promote the cross-fertilization of ideas and enhance research outcomes. Finally, the findings from working papers and blogs must be integrated into training activities, with content used for case studies to enhance learning programs.
