Title: Senior Policy Analyst, Macroeconomics and Public Finance
Reports to: Director, Center for Data Analysis
Job Summary: The Senior Policy Analyst, Macroeconomics and Public Finance, is responsible for developing and maintaining the macroeconomic modeling capabilities of the Center for Data Analysis (CDA) to analyze the impacts of policy shifts on the United States’ economy. This position involves both independent and collaborative research and publication on fiscal policy, entitlement reform, regulatory policy, and other related areas, working closely with colleagues across Heritage and with partner organizations. The Senior Policy Analyst will develop models of specific major federal programs, including tax, Social Security, and several healthcare programs. This position communicates research findings directly to policymakers, their staff, and the media.
