Lehigh University’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Economics with a specialization in behavioral economics, with an anticipated start date of August 2026.

Candidates must have earned a PhD in economics or a related field by the date of employment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong record of high-quality scholarship and contribute to the teaching and service missions of the department, the college, and the broader university.

The Department of Economics (https://business.lehigh.edu/departments/economics) offers PhD, MS in Applied Economics, and BS/BA degrees. Department faculty are actively engaged in research and teaching, with numerous teaching awards and publications in leading general and field journals. Department faculty are also involved in the use and administration of the Lehigh Business Behavioral Research Lab (https://business.lehigh.edu/centers/behavioral-research-lab).
