The Department of Environmental Management at the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (CESE) of Peking University in Beijing, China, invites applications for open-rank, tenure-track/tenured faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) starting from the academic year 2026-2027.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines, such as environmental social sciences (e.g., Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Sociology) or related interdisciplinary fields (e.g., Environmental Science/Engineering, Geography, Data Science). We are particularly interested in candidates whose research aligns with our priority areas: climate governance & policy; climate resilience & adaptation; regional & international environmental cooperation; computational and data-driven approaches; governance of soil, waste, and emerging pollutants.
Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate strong potential for independent research and teaching. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
