The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 2026. We seek candidates who teach and conduct research in finance/financial economics and who are prepared to teach both introductory and upper-level finance courses appropriate to the candidate’s expertise in contribution to our finance major. The finance major is housed in the Department of Economics, which consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields (including finance) and interests. The typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester consisting of 2 preparations per semester. We are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship in a diverse liberal arts environment.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD or ABD’s near completion and advanced assistant professors will be considered.
