Position Overview
The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for multiple positions at the rank of associate professor or professor with tenure to begin in August 2026. All subfields will be considered.

Performance Objectives
The candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program; support our commitment to excellence in teaching; and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2026, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with rank of associate professor or professor.

Desired: Preference is given to candidates with a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and evidence of impact in their field as indicated by citations, funding, and professional service.
