Position Description
The Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Economics at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants in all fields of Economics will be considered.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in Economics before starting the position of Assistant Professor.

Applications are required to include a curriculum vitae, teaching statement, research statement, student evaluations, three letters of recommendation and a job market paper. Additionally, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit published or unpublished research papers. Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2025 and will continue until June 30, 2026, or until the position is filled.
