The Finance (FNCE) Area at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Quantum Finance. The appointment start date is July 1, 2026.

Candidates must have:

A PhD in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field, completed or expected to be within one year of the date of appointment.
Evidence of excellence in research, as demonstrated through a high-quality job market paper, working papers, and a strong pipeline of future research. Seasoned candidates are expected to have publications or invited revisions in top-ranked journals.
Experience presenting at leading conferences in the field.
Willingness and ability to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
A demonstrated commitment to service contribution to the university.
