The Department of Foreign Policy and Global Security (FPGS) in the School of International Service (SIS) at American University (AU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in international security at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2026.

We seek candidates focusing on international security at a time of major change in geopolitics and global security.
