Building on the Wisconsin RISE Initiative, the Department of Consumer Science in the School of Human Ecology (SoHE) at University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for 5 full time, tenure-track positions (on an annual 9-month contract) at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor.

In SoHE, cross-unit collaborations expand our capacity to obtain funded research support and provide students with high-impact learning opportunities. We are seeking colleagues who are poised to make major discoveries and translate them into real-world impact under the RISE initiatives outlined on our application page.

Associate and Full Professor candidates must possess experience and scholarly credentials that meet UW-Madison’s promotion and tenure standards. To qualify for Assistant Professor the candidate must have a terminal degree at the time of application or official notification of completion of degree by the appointment date. Preferred degree areas: Economics, Consumer Science, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Marketing, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
