The Department of Economics in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa seeks candidates for a one-year, full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Economics position to start in August 2025.

The teaching load is three 4-credit hour courses for a total of 12 credit hours per semester. The successful candidate should be able to teach introductory classes in microeconomics and macroeconomics. The candidate is expected to engage with students, participate in department activities including assurance of learning and curriculum meetings, and College of Business faculty meetings and events. Qualifications

Applicants with a Ph.D. in Economics from an AACSB-accredited institution, or very near completion, will be given preference. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
