The Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for one tenure-track faculty position to begin in the Fall semester of 2025-2026 academic year (August 2025). Preference will be given for applicants at the assistant professor level and applicants at the associate or full professor will alternatively be considered.

We encourage candidates from all fields of Economics to apply. Successful candidates will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and should be committed to research and teaching of the highest quality. The teaching load is four courses per year. The language of instruction is English. Candidates must have a PhD in Economics by the time of appointment.
