DTU Management at DTU has vacancies at the level of Associate Professor in Applied Economics. The expected start date: flexible.

The appointment’s aim is to strengthen the research in economics within the department. The candidate will become part of a strong team with internationally leading economists within a multi-disciplinary department. At the department, we have several full professors within economics. Our research is impactful and supported by excellence grants such as ERC.

We are seeking candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

· Developing and applying behavioural economic models

· Lab, field experiments or natural experiments

· Applying advanced statistical tools (econometrics, ML, etc.)

· Conducting policy relevant research

The positions are open to different application fields within economics including environmental, transport, health, ecological, energy, climate, urban, and public economics.

We seek candidates with a high potential for creative and independent research, ability to collaborate and interact with other researchers, and sincere teaching engagement.

Denmark is one of the countries in the world with the highest degree of digitalization, and hence researchers have access to unique longitudinal datasets on households, companies, citizen behaviour, health, labour market, etc.
