Assistant Teaching Professor in Real Estate

Job Description and Position Requirements: The Department of Risk Management in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Real Estate. The duties of this rank will involve engaging in effective teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Experience with or interest in online teaching is preferred. This is a term appointment, funded for one year from date of hire, with a possibility of renewal. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in real estate, economics, finance, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. Alternatively, applicants without a terminal degree should possess at least a master's degree and must have demonstrated ability as a teacher and evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and/or mastery of subject matter. Candidates with an established research agenda or industry experience are preferred.
