Peking University’s National School of Development (NSD) invites applications for full-time Postdoctoral Researchers. We seek highly qualified candidates specializing in urban economics, trade economics, spatial economics, or economic geography. The research focuses on the economic impacts of transportation infrastructure, particularly in developing countries. Responsibilities include collaborative research on spatial economic modeling, big-data-driven empirical analysis, and publication in leading academic journals.
Candidates must hold a PhD in economics or a related field (obtained within the past three years), demonstrate expertise in quantitative spatial economic models, and possess strong empirical skills. Experience with coding for geospatial data analysis and geospatial artificial intelligence methods is highly preferred.
Salary and benefits are competitive with international standards and negotiable, including performance-based bonuses, housing support, and opportunities for international exchanges.
