The Mosbacher Institute for Trade, Economics, and Public Policy at the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, has an opening for one Postdoctoral Research Associate with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2025. The position will focus on generating policy-related academic publications in the areas of international economics and labor economics. This position supports ongoing research projects assigned by the Institute Director, Dr. Raymond Robertson, and allows for independent research approved by the Director. Institute projects are related to US trade policy, global value chains, migration, and international institutions. The position also involves collaboration with other Bush School faculty and graduate students.
The program is open to all regardless of citizenship. The term of appointment is typically two academic years (10-12 months per year). Applicants must have received a PhD (or expected within 3 months of the start date), preferably in a social science discipline or alternative degree field that links to policy analysis, public policy, international economics, and/or labor economics.
