The Private Enterprise Research Center at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill one position at the rank of Postdoctoral Research Associate.
This position requires a Bachelor's and Ph.D. in economics or a related field and experience in data analysis. The successful candidate is expected to prepare and submit articles to peer-reviewed journals for publication, and participate in PERC's public policy research agenda by conducting research in the general areas of healthcare, entitlements, retirement, public and labor economics, and monetary policy.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in a positive manner with staff members and stakeholders while providing excellent presentation skills. The ability to explain economic terms and concepts effectively to a variety of audiences of differing expertise levels is key. Candidates are also expected to have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.
