The Stanford University Department of Health Policy seeks up to two post-doctoral fellows for two-year positions beginning in the Summer or Fall of 2025. These positions are part of the AHRQ-funded Health Services Research Training Program at Stanford, and offer training and research opportunities in health services research, health economics, decision sciences, and related fields. Fellows work in a rich cross-disciplinary research setting, and can take advantage of extensive seminars, workshops, courses, and other resources for skill and career development.

To be appointed, individuals must have completed doctoral training in a relevant field, including economics and or related social sciences; must have experience with health-related topics; and must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Fellows will receive a competitive stipend, annual allowances for travel and research, and workspace on the Stanford campus, generally at the Department of Health Policy. Stanford University also provides additional benefits including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance benefits package.

Start date will be arranged in consultation with their primary mentor but can be as early as July 1, 2025.
