Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Center for Insurance Policy and Research (CIPR) at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is seeking applicants for two postdoctoral research positions. This is a full-time/temporary position with preference for a candidate to work out of Kansas City, MO, USA, potential consideration for New York City or Washington, DC offices. The position is one year with the possibility of extending for an additional year based on first year evaluation.

Postdoctoral researchers work alongside experienced staff researchers to conduct applied research that informs NAIC members and staff on key issues of concern, emphasizing the leverage of available NAIC data where applicable. CIPR researchers also engage in basic, scholarly research to expand the state of knowledge in risk management and insurance and insurance-related issues. Further, CIPR researchers maintain strong ties with academia and related research centers.
