The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) seeks an innovative scholar for a tenure-track position in Business Analytics, Data Science, and AI within the Department of Management, Marketing, Logistics, and Business Analytics. The position is part of UAA's College of Business and Public Policy and offers opportunities to collaborate with research active faculty in the Economics Department and Institute for Economic and Social Research.
Anchorage, home to about 400,000 residents, offers unparalleled access to outdoor activities, including skiing, fishing, kayaking, and extensive hiking trails. UAA, as an open-enrollment institution, serves a diverse student body representing varied ages, life experiences, and educational backgrounds. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics, Data Science, and AI. They will be expected to be productive in research and service. They should possess advanced technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver effective, engaging instruction.
