The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan seeks a dynamic and innovative individual for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Agricultural Economics and Policy.

The successful candidate will have expertise in analyzing and addressing economic issues in the agricultural sector, and will possess strong analytical skills to evaluate agricultural markets and policy impacts. Experience in quantitative modelling and data analysis with the ability to apply these techniques to real-world agricultural issues is desired. Excellent communication skills are essential for translating economic concepts into practical insights for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, farmers, and community organizations. Evidence of the potential to become a high-quality teacher-scholar and to operate as a team player in a collegial environment is also required. Preference will be given to those with expertise in one or more research areas including international trade, agribusiness, or agricultural production.
