The Department of Economics within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure track, renewable Instructional Track faculty positions in Economics at the level of Assistant Professor of Instruction, Associate Professor of Instruction, or Full Professor of Instruction starting August 2025. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. The position is 100% time (teaching 8 courses per year) and includes an initial three-year contract with benefits, which is renewable. Responsibilities include teaching eight courses in the undergraduate program and/or MBA programs during the academic year. Education Requirement:
An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree in economics, applied economics, or a similar field will be completed before August 20, 2025.
Required Qualifications:
Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level in the area of principles of macroeconomics.
Desired Qualifications:
We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach undergraduate courses in principles of microeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, econometrics, and/or industrial organization.
