The Graduate Institute of Industrial Economics, being the top-notch research institute in Taiwan, is seeking to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The ideal candidate should have a track record of conducting high-caliber research in empirical industrial organization and applied microeconomics, as well as the capacity to teach quantitative methods, managerial economics, and topics in industrial economics to graduate and mature students in English and Chinese.

Teamwork is highly valued in our institute which includes collaborative research work, co-teaching, and joint supervision of graduate students with faculty members. The eligible candidate should articulate a viable research plan, demonstrate the ability to seek competitive research funding from external sources, and excogitate innovation in teaching pedagogy that is student-focused and research-oriented.

Our institute is located at the scenic campus of Taoyuan City which is in the proximity of Taoyuan International Airport. Situated in the center of the corridor connecting the capital city Taipei and the Hsinchu Science Park, research collaboration with the industry, research bodies, and government agencies is productively facilitated.
