The School of Business - whose roots date back to 1947-anticipates openings for faculty positions in the Mohamed Shafik Gabr Department of Economics at the level of Assistant/Associate/Professor for a fixed term one-year appointment, to begin in Fall 2025. The department seeks an applicant with exceptional teaching and research records who transcends traditional mainstream output in Economic Development and Quantitative Economics.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a PhD in economics or finance from a reputable university, preferably AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited. Applicants must demonstrate an excellent record of teaching experience and student evaluations. Applicants must have a proven record of research publications in the past five years in top-tier journals (A*/A according to the ABDC ranking or Q1/Q2 according to Scopus ranking) and a proven record of research grant applications.
