Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Center for Experimental & Applied Economics at the University of Delaware seeks a qualified candidate as a Postdoctoral Researcher for a period up to three years. The selected candidate will contribute to experimental economics research in a project funded by the National Science Foundation. The overarching goal of this project is to advance convergent science to empower communities that are disproportionately affected by dual, interacting climate hazards–flooding and salinization–to make effective and inclusive adaptation decisions that support long-term climate resilience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to co-author several publications, participate in professional conferences and engage with community stakeholders and other agencies working on climate adaptation strategies in coastal communities. The position offers a competitive salary that is commensurate with qualifications and experience, including an attractive benefit package.

Applicants are expected to have strong training and experience in experimental and behavioral economics. A PhD in economics or applied economics is required. Strong training in experimental design and interest in community-engaged research is highly desirable. Strong writing and communication skills are critical.
