The Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET), established in 1976 as a government-funded institute, has long influenced the industrial and economic policies of Korea to advance the public interest. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Associate Research Fellow. Applicants with expertise in economics, Ph.D candidates, and Ph.Ds with work experience are all encouraged to apply.
Applicants should have completed their Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline by the time employment begins.
Candidates will be evaluated over three stages. The first stage is a document screening process in which KIET will assess the credentials of applicants. Candidates that pass this stage will be invited to second stage of the process, which is an interview via teleconference. Successful interviewees will be invited to KIET for the third and final stage of the evaluation process, an in-person presentation of their job market paper or Ph.D dissertation.
