The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in applied economics, beginning in Fall 2025. The postdoc will work with Shanjun Li and other researchers on topics related to global sustainability challenges, such as renewable energy development, transportation electrification, environmental regulations, and the interaction of trade with these issues.
The position is initially for one year, offering a competitive annual salary and benefits package, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance in the first year.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by the time of hire. Research experience with structural estimation or quantitative spatial models is required, and experience with large datasets is highly desirable. The postdoc is expected to engage with researchers and participate in activities at both the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability and the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies.
