Position description
The Department of Economics at HEC Lausanne seeks applications for a post-doctoral research fellow. This full-time position starts in August 2025 (other dates possible). We will offer a one-year renewable contract, with a preference for applicants who can work for two years. The ideal candidate must have expertise in spatial quantitative economics and have completed the Ph.D. before the start date. The fellow will work with Professor Sébastien Houde and a dynamic research team on housing and energy policies, focusing on multidimensional climate risks in an urban spatial setting.


Qualifications
Ph.D. (by start date) in economics and related fields (e.g., operation research) with expertise in spatial quantitative economics who are interested in studying themes related to urban, trade, migration, climate, energy, and environmental economics.
