The Department of Economics invites applications for an Assistant Professor position (tenure-track) in Economics. Applicants are expected to have a doctorate in Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a closely related discipline (ABD may be considered if the degree will be earned by August 2025). The position is located on the University of West Georgia's main campus in Carrollton, GA and will begin in Fall 2025.
The primary teaching responsibilities are in the areas of applied business analytics, healthcare analytics and health economics, visual analytics, and related disciplines. Other teaching responsibilities may include principles of economics, and other field-related upper division and graduate courses.
Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in Economics or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered, provided the doctoral degree is completed by August 2025.
