Positions: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor

Job Description: Full Time, Tenured Track

Location of Work: Hsinchu, Taiwan

Language of Instruction: English

Start of Employment: August 2025 onwards

Qualification: Applicants must have or expect a Ph.D. degree in Political Science, Economics, or related fields. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in research as well as in teaching.

Fields of Specialty:

• Political Science: All fields are welcome, but priority will be given to scholars with specialty in political economy or doing applied/empirical research in political science.

• Economics: All fields are welcome, but priority will be given to scholars with specialty in political economy or doing applied/empirical research in economics.

Compensation: TSE offers a competitive compensation package which carries full tenure-track benefits, including enrollment in National Health Insurance, pension, and retirement benefits.

We currently offer Master degree program in Asian Political Economy, Global Political Economy, and Economic Development as well as Ph.D. degree program in Political Science and Economics.
