NYU Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science from individuals who have or will soon receive a PhD in Economics focusing on Macroeconomics or Computational Social Science. The appointment is for 3 years and will begin September 1, 2025, subject to final budget approval.

The postdoctoral associate will split their time evenly between independent and collaborative research with Dr. Alaïs Martin-Baillon, Dr. Jordan Norris, and Dr. Samreen Malik. The collaborative research will be on macroeconomic expectations, focusing on firms and the role of networks. An ideal candidate may have experience with surveys and RCTs, be capable with economic theory and network analysis, and have expertise in computational economics. Programming and skills with statistical packages are essential.
