The Department of Economics at Fordham University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Preferred candidates will have primary research and teaching interests in international trade and secondary interests in applied microeconomics or empirical macroeconomics. We seek candidates whose research focuses on analyzing the behavior of firms and industries.

Our department serves a diverse student body at two campuses in New York City, at Lincoln Center in Manhattan and at Rose Hill in the Bronx. The chosen candidate will teach courses offered by the undergraduate and graduate (M.A., IPED, Ph.D.) Economics programs at Fordham. We anticipate this prospective hire will be based at the Rose Hill campus. Tenure at Fordham requires publication in high profile journals as well as excellent teaching in our graduate and undergraduate programs. Candidates with demonstrated research potential and who expect to complete their PhD by August 2025 are encouraged to apply.
