NYU Abu Dhabi’s Economics group is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position. Candidates should have or be nearing completion of a PhD in Economics. The appointment starts on September 1, 2025, and lasts for three academic years.

The role involves dedicating 50% of time to independent research and 50% to collaborative projects with Professors Jean Imbs and Laurent Pauwels. Ideal candidates will have expertise in international macroeconomics and trade, with a strong grasp of trade models and input-output linkages. Proficiency in handling large datasets and coding simulations is essential. Teaching is not required but optional for compensation.
