Jane Street is seeking exceptional researchers for the role of Quantitative Researcher/Quantitative Trader, based in our New York headquarters. Strong candidates will have significant experience working with data and statistical models; no background in Finance is required.

Researchers/Traders at Jane Street collaborate with trading groups and other research teams to build models that combine deep economic understanding with careful analysis of data. Successful models inform the strategies and systems that we use to price, trade, and understand an enormous variety of financial instruments worldwide.

- Have good taste in research, and be comfortable pushing in unexplored directions while maintaining clarity of purpose.
