The Department of Finance and Economics at Texas State University invites applications for a tenure-line position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, specializing in Economics, to begin in Fall 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate economics courses, publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals, and provide service to the department, the university, and the profession. All areas of applied microeconomics will be considered. Candidates must have an interest in applying innovative and rigorous analytical approaches to interesting real-world problems in economics. Experienced candidates for the rank of Associate Professor are expected to carry a track record of high-quality research and an established research agenda.
