The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for one, possibly two, full-time, tenure-track faculty positions beginning August 2025. Candidates must meet the following selection criteria:

- A demonstrated record of, or strong potential for, publication in peer-reviewed academic journals.

- Ability or interest in teaching data analysis for business course.

- Ability or interest in teaching one or more of the following areas: labor, public, health, or environmental economics.

- Clear and effective communication skills.

Applicants should explicitly address how they meet each criterion in their cover letter. The teaching load is 3-3, with class sizes typically ranging from 30 to 35 students. A PhD in economics or a related field must be completed no later than the end of the first academic year.

For full consideration, submit a cover letter addressing each criterion, a curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation. Applications received by November 25 are prioritized, and review continues until the position(s) are filled. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually, with shortlisted candidates invited to campus. Work visa sponsorship is available for the successful candidate if necessary.
