The Department of Economics at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor Michigan invites applications for full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in any field in Economics to begin August 25, 2025. This is a university year appointment and will be at the level of assistant professor. Duties include: teaching and research in Economics, advising students and providing service to the department and university. Ph.D. in Economics or related field required by start date of position. Applicants must submit current curriculum vitae, job market paper, three reference letters, a statement of teaching philosophy and experience, a statement of current and future research plans, evidence of teaching excellence, and a diversity statement to the Department’s relevant job posting(s) on EconJobMarket at https://www.econjobmarket.org.
