The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position starting in the fall semester of 2024. The workload includes teaching 7 Economic courses per year (70%), research/scholarly activities (20%), and service (10%) to be determined in consultation with the department chair.
The position is based in Denver, CO and requires the individual to travel internationally to Beijing, China to teach at the International College in Beijing for the 12-week fall semester. During the alternate spring semester, the individual will teach in-person on the CU Denver campus in Denver.
Candidates should have at least a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2024. Candidates from all fields of economics will be considered and those with teaching experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire:
· Ph.D. in Economics
· Two years of teaching experience
· Independent teaching experience
· Meet the requirements to obtain a Z Visa to work in China
