The Department of Economics at Universidad Iberoamericana (IBERO), Mexico City, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position beginning August 2024. Candidates should be interested in empirical analysis relevant to public policy in developing countries and must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in both research and teaching. Teaching responsibilities will include courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must hold or expect to have a Ph.D. in Economics or Public Policy by July 2024. It is desirable to have publications in quality peer-reviewed journals. Experience in the application of tools and/or topics related to AI and data science will be valued. Depending on performance, tenure may be granted after one academic year.
