The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2024. We also have a second position for 5 courses (⅚ or .83 FTE employment) with full benefits.

We seek candidates with experience and interest in teaching courses in introductory and intermediate economics. This successful applicant would also teach an advanced undergraduate elective course related to their field(s), which would be negotiated on hire. An ability to teach healthcare economics is preferred for one of the positions.

A Ph.D. in economics is preferred, though ABD in economics with undergraduate teaching experience will receive full consideration.

St. Olaf College is a selective private liberal arts college located in Northfield, MN, about 45 minutes from the Twin Cities.
