We seek candidates with expertise in health economics, management, policy analysis, or data analytics. The ideal candidate has strong research skills and is expected to seek extramural funding for health services research, be an academic mentor to students, and engage in professional, university, and community service.

We seek driven and innovative applicants with strong scholarly credentials, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and promise for external research funding. We expect the successful candidate to teach in our doctorate, master’s, and undergraduate programs. The teaching load is expected to be one to four courses, depending on research and service involvement.

The Department of Health Management & Systems Science has a longstanding reputation for its contributions to the design and improvement of healthcare and public health systems and policies, with graduates fulfilling leadership roles around the country and the world. The new faculty members will also be expected to actively contribute to our various educational programs wherever appropriate, including the Master of Public Health, MS in Health Administration (MSHA), dual MPH-MSHA, dual MBA-MSHA, Master of Science in Health Data Analytics (MSHDA), and PhD in Public Health Sciences.

Applicants must hold a doctorate before the appointment start date.
