The Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Research Center (MPFSRC), affiliated with the Tsinghua National Institute of Financial Research (NIFR) at Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for a full-time, two-year position.

The ideal candidate will primarily contribute to Financial Economics, and Financial Intermediation and Regulation. Applicants must have obtained their Ph.D. in Economics or a related field within the last two years. We welcome applications from both empiricists and theorists.

MPFSRC advises government policymakers on financial stability and regulation, and undertakes mid- to long-term research projects sponsored by the central bank, regulatory authorities, and other government agencies. The Postdoctoral Scholar will collaborate closely with the Center’s Associate Director, Prof. Zhen Zhou, and work alongside other postdocs and faculty members at the PBC School of Finance.

The program aims to support postdoctoral fellows in launching successful academic careers through mentored research and professional development. The successful candidate will enrich the research environment by conducting outstanding research and leading or participating in Center projects (approximately 40% of their time). Fellows will benefit from participation in seminars and workshops, and opportunities to seek internal and external funding. The position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
