The Post Doctoral Scholar will study the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on health and the economy using interest and expertise in health economics, labor economics, urban / regional economics, and/or spatial econometrics. They will support and conduct detailed complex scientific studies, functioning as a subject expert on one of more phases of the project(s). They will also prepare and/or present seminars, talks or lectures for dissemination of knowledge, particularly the results of research undertaken; assist in the management of one of more phases of the research effort; assist in the selection of key research personnel, including undergraduate and graduate students, to work on project(s) undertaken; and work with and coordinate collaborating research staff. They will provide input on methods and procedures necessary to achieve desired goals. Additional duties are listed in the official application.

Initial appointment is one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding. Applicants will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

The target hiring range for this position is $62,000-$69,000 per year.
