The Department of Economics at the University of Winnipeg invites applications for one probationary tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Subject to budgetary approval, the expected start date is July 1, 2024, though some flexibility may be possible. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
We are seeking candidates with a research specialization in Finance or Financial Economics, but we will also give consideration to applicants with a research specialization in Development Economics and/or Health Economics. Candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or Finance, or be close to completion. They must show evidence of high-quality research and the potential for effective teaching.
