Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track position in macroeconomics at rank of assistant or associate professor. A successful candidate will be expected to participate in the life of the department through teaching and research as well as participating in extracurriculars such as the Fed Challenge, student clubs, mentorship, etc.

We expect the successful candidate to begin in August 2024 with a completed doctorate (ABDs considered). Candidates must be capable of excellent/dynamic teaching, developing a strong research agenda, and teaching a variety of courses to enhance the B.S. degree in business economics and the traditional B.A. degree. Position requirements include a 3-3 teaching load and commensurate research and service obligations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

PhD in Economics, or related field, with a specialization in a macroeconomics related field
ABD candidates with an expected completion prior to start date will be considered
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Research and teaching focus in macroeconomics
