The Social Science Research Council is seeking to fill a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in the Office of the President. The SSRC Presidential Fellow will work with the President’s Office team on initiatives that engage the social and behavioral science research community in moving projects from research to social impact.

One planned initiative to be led by the Presidential Fellow is the design and execution of a research-to-impact incubator designed to help research teams move their projects toward scaled adoption by implementing organizations. Research teams will be able to apply to the planned incubator, whose design will incorporate existing research evidence on implementation and scaling, for seed funding and targeted support to help move projects toward scaled implementation. The Presidential Fellow will also work with the President’s Office team on other projects that engage the social and behavioral science research community.

Remote work is possible. Compensation will be in the range of $80,000 - $120,000, with full benefits including health insurance, retirement benefits, and generous leave policies.
