Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Markets and Development Initiative at EGC brings together methods and questions of Industrial Organization, Trade and Development economics to produce a deep understanding of developing-country markets. Faculty leading the initiative include Lauren Falcao Bergquist, Pinelopi Goldberg, Amit Khandelwal and Nicholas Ryan.

As part of the Markets and Development initiative, the EGC is offering a Post-doctoral Fellowship for recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in economics. The fellowship is based in New Haven and the fellow will contribute to EGC research and publications in the area of markets, trade and development. We especially welcome applications from scholars connecting work in development to the fields of trade, industrial organization, energy and environmental economics, market design or other sub-fields of economics that bear on the structure of markets. The Fellow will be a member of the Yale development community, participate in activities related to the Markets and Development and in seminars and conferences at Yale.

The Resident Fellowship will start with the 2023-24 academic year and last for one year. The fellowship may be renewable if funding allows. Fellows receive a salary plus Yale benefits, a travel/research stipend, and office space
