This two-year post-doctoral fellowship, supported by Arnold Ventures, will leverage data produced by the Jail Data Initiative at New York University to evaluate cost-effective and scalable policy solutions that advance the efficacy and equity of criminal justice practices. During the two-year period of the fellowship, the fellow will produce at least two rigorous and publication-quality causal analyses of criminal justice policy solutions.

The fellowship will begin in summer 2024. Eligible applicants will need to have received a Ph.D. no earlier than September 2019 and no later than September 2024. The fellow may reside in a location and affiliate with a university of their choosing. The fellow will receive data support from the Jail Data Initiative's data science team. Annual compensation is $120,000.
